Pneumatic-Hydraulic Actuated Safety Valve: Critical Safety Component for Downhole Well Control Systems
The pneumatic-hydraulic actuated safety valve consists of two main parts: the safety valve pilot valve and the hydraulic actuator, serving as the executive component of the downhole safety system. High-pressure oil enters the upper chamber of the actuator, compressing the lower spring mechanism to open the valve. When the wellhead equipment is subjected to dangerous pressure, the control unit receives sensor signals, releases the hydraulic cylinder pressure, and the spring mechanism drives the valve stem to close the valve and wellhead assembly, ensuring the safe operation of process equipment.
