Ball Valve: Full Bore, Zero-Leakage Valves for Harsh Oilfield Applications
A ball valve is a quarter-turn valve that uses a spherical ball with a circular bore to control fluid flow. The ball rotates around the valve stem’s centerline to open or close the valve.
Our ball valve series is available in two-piece and three-piece designs, offering advantages over conventional valves including low fluid resistance, fast operation, and simple structure. Key features include:
- High Chemical Stability: FEP-lined ball valves resist most corrosive media (except molten metals and elemental fluorine).
- Full Bore Floating Ball Design: Provides bubble-tight shutoff across the entire pressure range, allowing pipeline pigging and easy maintenance.
- Compact & Efficient Structure: Minimizes dead volume to reduce media stagnation. Special sealing processes combined with Grafloy PTFE packing ensure zero leakage.
- Flexible Configurations: Three-piece design allows in-line replacement and maintenance, while both designs adapt to diverse piping systems and operating conditions.
Manufactured to GB12237 / API 608 / API 6D standards, these valves support multiple actuation options: manual, gear, pneumatic, and hydraulic.
